If you (“user, you, the person reading thisâ€) want to enter one of JohnnyJet.com’s giveaways, follow the instructions on the individual post. Anything stated on an individual post supersedes the rules stated on this page.
Any legal resident of the United States, at least 18 years of age can enter a giveaway. Unless you live in a city, state or alternate universe that legally doesn’t allow giveaways – in other words – void where prohibited. Continental U.S. shipping addresses only, unless otherwise stated. No purchase necessary to enter or win. Employees (including, without limitation, part-time, temporary employees or independent contractors) of JohnnyJet.com and MPH Entertainment, Inc. and contest sponsors their respective parent entities, subsidiaries, affiliated companies and advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family (i.e., current and ex- spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, and siblings and in-laws and steps in any of the foregoing categories) and other household members (i.e., roommates, housemates, significant others, and partners of each residing at the same address) of each are NOT eligible.
Participation in a giveaway constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of JohnnyJet.com, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
You’ll just have to trust the good folks at JohnnyJet.com that we’re being honest about how we pick the winners (“winnerâ€). Giveaways may be run using a widget from RaffleCopter.com. RaffleCopter’s tools monitor the giveaway and choose a winner.
Winners chosen at random by JohnnyJet.com may also be chosen by random.org’s sequence generator. The first number in the sequence is the winner. If the first number chosen doesn’t qualify (the user didn’t follow the rules, the winner does not respond, etc.) We will move on to the next number until we find a winner.
If a giveaway post specifies that you may enter once per day, that means once per calendar day, not 24-hour period. In other words, you can enter at 11:59pm Saturday and then again at 12:01am Sunday, and then not again until Monday. Unless otherwise stated, please only one entry per household per day.
By submitting your information as designated on the individual giveaway post, you will be entered into the giveaway for the Prize from among all eligible entries received. All entries must be submitted at JohnnyJet.com, unless otherwise stated, or the entry will be void. And then you’ll be totally bummed out. Those who do not fill in the required fields of entry will be disqualified.
Please do not enter a bunch of times under different names and email addresses, or have your spouse, friends or goldfish enter for you, and please do not enter once from your home computer and once from your work computer. The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically register and/or enter repeatedly is prohibited and all such entries will be disqualified. JohnnyJet.com reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Much like a cool rock star/superhero, JohnnyJet.com polices its website and giveaways, we do check IP addresses and whatever else we can check. So don’t try to cheat, no one likes a cheater, and you’ll be banned from all future giveaways. Then you’ll be sad, very sad, because we giveaway cool stuff here at JohnnyJet.com.
Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, JohnnyJet.com reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. We like to call it a legal smack down.
JohnnyJet.com’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of any of its rights or positions at law or equity. In case of a dispute as to the owner of an entry, entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address or screen name from which the entry is made. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the giveaway is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, JohnnyJet.com may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the giveaway to address the impairment and then resume the giveaway in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment.
JohnnyJet.com is not responsible for any late, lost, incomplete, illegible, incomprehensible, or misdirected entries, electronic, hardware, bugs, Internet or other computer/communications related malfunctions, giveaway disruptions, injuries, losses or damages, any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the giveaway.
Depending on the specific giveaway, You may be notified via, phone, mail, e-mail, facebook, twitter, or carrier pigeon, subject to verification, that you are a Prize winner.
You have exactly one week from the time that JohnnyJet.com contacts you to get back to us and claim your prize with delivery instructions, unless noted in the specific giveaway. After that time we will give your prize to someone else, and the memory of your lost prize will haunt you.
Winners may be required to sign, have notarized and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within five (5) days of receipt of such document(s) or Prize will be forfeited.
Participation in the giveaway constitutes a winner’s consent to JohnnyJet.com’s use of winner’s name, likeness, picture, portrait, voice, video, opinions, biographical information and state of residence for promotional, publicity or advertising purposes worldwide in any media and on JohnnyJet.com, in perpetuity, without further consideration, review or consent (where allowable).
All expenses not specified herein, including, without limitation, federal, state, or local taxes, if any, associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. By entering the giveaway through this website, you release JohnnyJet.com from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the giveaway or delivery, mis-delivery or acceptance of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
Except where prohibited, you agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration located in Los Angeles, California.
About the prizes: companies provide JohnnyJet.com with books, gadgets, and products to review and/or promote. In no event will more than the stated number of Prizes be awarded.
