The Practical Wedding Sweepstakes
Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Eligibility:
This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States ages eighteen (18) years or older. Employees of Sponsors (defined below) and their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, promotion and advertising agencies, immediate family members of any such individuals (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live), or persons living in the same households of such individuals, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win a prize. Only one (1) prize per household. The Sweepstakes will consist of one (1) drawing and one (1) winner.

Sponsors:
Sponsors of the Sweepstakes are Practical Media Inc., a California corporation, P. O. box 10748 Oakland, CA 94610 and Da Capo Press, 44 Farnsworth Street, 3rd Floor, Boston, MA 02210 (collectively, “Sponsors”).

Schedule:
The Sweepstakes begins January 8, 2016 at 1:30PM EST/10:30AM PST and ends January 31, 2016 at 11:59pm EST/ 8:59pm PST (“Entry Period”).

How to Enter:
No purchase necessary. You can enter this Sweepstakes by one of the following two means. You must submit all required data in order for the Sweepstakes entry to be valid. Only one (1) entry per person.

Online entry: Enter by visiting www.apracticalwedding.com during the Entry Period. On-line entries must be received by 11:59pm EST/ 8:59pm PST on January 31, 2016. By submitting a photo entry, you hereby give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, adapt, modify and distribute your photo through any media now known or developed in the future. As part of our non-exclusive license you agree that other users of our site may re-post your photo on our site and other websites provided that such use is for non-commercial purposes only. All entries, including photo entries, are subject to Practical Media Inc.’s terms of use.

Email entry: Email team at apracticalwedding dot com with your name, address, home telephone number and age. Only one (1) entry per email. Email in entries must be sent by the end of the Entry Period.

Conditions of Entry:
Incomplete entries will not be accepted. All entries become the property of Sponsor(s) and will not be returned or acknowledged. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules, all eligibility requirements, and the decisions of Sponsor, including the interpretation of these Official Rules and its exercise of discretion, which will be final and binding in all respects. Sponsors, their respective advertising and promotion agencies, and/or any telephone network or service providers are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, misdirected, illegible or postage due entries.

If you are entering online, you must provide a valid e-mail address and you must be the registered subscriber of the e-mail account by which the entry is made prior to the first date of the Entry Period.

Any potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsors with proof that he or she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry. In case of dispute as to the identity of a winner who entered online, such entry will be declared made by the registered user of the email account, and if a prize is won, and such registered user is a valid entrant, the prize will be awarded to such registered user.

Prize:
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize consists of up to five tuxedo rentals from Generation Tux, a $550 credit to Minted.com and a $250 credit to Brideside.com. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is $1,550.

All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and surcharges on any prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. No prize transfer, assignment or substitution by winners permitted. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prize in the event of unavailability, in which case a prize of comparable value determined in Sponsors’ reasonable discretion, will be awarded.

Drawing:
One prize-winner will be determined on or about February 5, 2016 by a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the end of the Entry Period. The random drawing will be conducted by an independent judge whose decisions are final with respect to all aspects of this Sweepstakes. Estimated odds of winning are 1: 3,000. If by reason of a printing or other error, more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these Official Rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a random drawing to award the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded. All decisions of the Sponsors are final.

Sponsors are not responsible for technical, telephone, hardware or software malfunction, lost, interrupted, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, including the inaccurate or incorrect capture of online entry information, or any other errors of any kind, however caused, that may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes.

If, in Sponsors’ opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with or alteration of any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if any technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right to terminate the Sweepstakes or void any affected entries.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Redemption & Verification:
The winner(s) will be notified by email, if provided. If a winner cannot be contacted from the information provided on the registration form, Sponsors reserve the right to select another winner in its sole discretion. If a winner is disqualified, Sponsors reserve the right to determine an alternate winner.

Conditions of Participation:
This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited by law. U.S. law governs this Sweepstakes.

By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsors and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and their employees, contractors, officers, directors, and representatives from any liability, claims, losses, and damages arising out of your participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activities and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in this Sweepstakes.

By participating, you grant Sponsors permission to the use of your name and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes (except residents of Tennessee and where prohibited by law) and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. Upon request, you agree to provide consent to such use in writing.

General Prize Conditions:
The prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty, representation or guarantee, either express or implied, in fact or in law whether now known or hereinafter enacted, relative to the use or enjoyment of the prize, including, without limitation, its quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The winner may not substitute, assign or transfer a prize or redeem a prize for cash. The Sponsors will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen price or any prize that is undeliverable or does not reach the winner for any reason, including without limitation, because of incorrect or changed contact information.

General Conditions:

Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered, garbled, illegible or postage-due mail or entries; or for technical failure or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes and the winner, or in any sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the sweepstakes, act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by the Sponsors, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. The Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the sweepstakes should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in the Sponsors’ sole opinion, compromised by non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsors, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, or for any other reason determined by the Sponsors in their sole discretion and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winner(s) for the drawing(s) at issue from all eligible, non-suspect entries received for the applicable drawing prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by the Sponsors. The Sponsors are not responsible for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. The Sponsors are not responsible, and may disqualify an entrant, if his or her e-mail address, telephone, or other contact information does not work or if it is changed without entrant giving prior written notice to the Sponsors. The Sponsors’ failure to or decision not to enforce any provision in these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. In the event there is an alleged or actual ambiguity, discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any sweepstakes-related materials and/or these Official Rules (including any alleged discrepancy or inconsistency in these Official Rules), it will be resolved in the Sponsors’ sole discretion. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. If the Sponsors determine at any time in their sole discretion that the winner or potential winner is disqualified, ineligible, or in violation of these official rules, the Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to select an alternate winner, even if the disqualified potential winner's name may have been shown or announced publicly. If any person supplies false information, obtains entries by fraudulent means, or is otherwise determined to be in violation of these Official Rules in an attempt to obtain any prize, the Sponsors may disqualify that person and seek damages from him or her and that person may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Entrants, by participating, agree that the Sponsors and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, members, managers, contractors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, "Released Parties") will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse, awarding or use of any prize (including any activity related thereto) or while preparing for, participating in and/or traveling to or from any prize- or sweepstakes-related activity.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Entry into the Sweepstakes does not create any vested right or interest for the participants in the prize offered for the Sweepstakes. The opinions and/or actions of each of the Sponsors are those of the individual Sponsors only. Each Sponsor is solely liable for its own actions, products, and/or services.

Disputes:
Except where prohibited, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the entrant and any Released Party, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or the prize awarded, or the determination of the winner must be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will an entrant be permitted or entitled to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than entrant's actual out-pocket expenses (if any), not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
