Nashville Repertory Theatre's production of the musical Chicago kicks off this week at Tennessee Performing Arts Center's (TPAC) Johnson Theater, and we’re excited to send a lucky East Nashvillian reader (plus a guest) to the Tuesday, March 29 performance.
About the show:
Full of murder, gin, and jazz, Chicago presents the tale of Roxy Hart and Velma Kelly — two dames shooting for fame by any means possible. Nashville Rep’s production features the iconic songs “Cellblock Tango†& “All That Jazz†performed with a live orchestra. This Tony Award-winning satire whisks you into a world where everyone is a dazzling performer, truth is defined by what gets the most attention, and owning the spotlight is the most important thing. Music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb, Book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse.
