See the best in bluegrass on the very stage where bluegrass was born when Springer Mountain Farms presents the 23rd annual Springer Mountain Farms Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman series, kicking off this month.

On Thursday, July 7, 2016, Kalamazoo quintet Greensky Bluegrass will take the stage, and thanks to the generous folks at the Ryman, we’ll be sending a lucky East Nashvillian reader, plus one, as our guest.

As for what to expect, a few words about Greensky Bluegrass from mandolinist, vocalist, and songwriter Paul Hoffman: “We’re existing in a few different places at once: we’re a bluegrass band and a rock band, we’re song-driven and interested in extended improvisation.”
