A ticket giveaway is what bwings us together, today: On Wednesday, Sept. 28 on the Old Timers Baseball Field at Shelby Park, Shelby Park Picture Show hosts a screening of beloved fantasy flick The Princess Bride, and we’d like to send a lucky East Nashvillian reader to enjoy the show from the “Best Seat in the House.”

What’s that entail? You’ll snag figurative seats — two tickets to the show — plus two beer tickets per person, and two Shelby Park Picture Show T-shirts.

You’ll get to perch in the literal best seat in the house, too — East Nashville’s Furniture Wholesale Plus is bringing out a plush loveseat, so you can listen to the shrieking of the eels in style. (If you’re looking for furniture, stop by and see those folks at 2701 Gallatin Pike.)
