Nashville Repertory Theatre stages their production of Noises Off, by Michael Frayn, at Tennessee Performing Arts Center's (TPAC) Johnson Theater, from October 15 through November 5, with previews October 13 and 14.

Thanks to the generous folks at Nashville Rep, we’re going to send two lucky East Nashvillian readers, plus guests, to the 7:30 p.m. show on Friday, Oct. 14.

Here’s their description of the production:

Doing a comedy takes a lot of hard work. A lot of hard work and a lot of sardines. Hard work, sardines, slamming doors, and sometimes an effort to avoid strangling your fellow cast mates. In this show-within-a-show sex farce, the chaos of rehearsal becomes chaos behind the scenes (literally), and ultimately utter disaster. This comic catastrophe is probably not what the saying “You have to suffer for your art” was meant to represent, but to the audience’s delight, Noises Off makes theatre gone wrong so funny you just won’t care. This brilliant comedy was a riotous success when The Rep produced it over ten years ago, and we figured we could all use a big laugh about now.

Wanna go? Enter through this form; we’ll choose and announce two random winners on Wednesday, Oct. 12.

If you’d rather make sure you’re in the house (or need to go another day), tickets are available now through the Nashville Rep website.

Happy entering!
