1. Agreement: These rules govern the #FoodieDaysOfChristmas contest (the Contest). No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the Contest rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Contest judges, which decisions shall be final and binding upon all entrants.

2. Sponsor: The Contest sponsor is Foodies on Foot (the Sponsor). The Contest prize is supplied by Jewels Under the Kilt and Organic Gold (the Prize Supplier).

3. Eligibility: This Contest is open to residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence except for employees, their immediate families and anyone living with any employee of the Sponsor, the Prize Supplier or either of their respective corporate affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies.

4. Contest: To enter the Contest, access the Contest website at http://foodiesonfoot.ca/jewels-kilt-organic-gold-foodiedaysofchristmas-giveaway/, read these Contest rules, and follow the instructions to complete and submit your entry during the Contest Period (a valid email address will be required). The Contest Period begins at 12:01 AM ET on December 10, 2016 and ends at 23:59 ET on December 12, 2016. The selected entrants will be chosen by random draw, which will take place following the Contest Period. Each selected entrant will be contacted by email by a representative of the Sponsor, and must reply within 24 hours to maintain eligibility. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within this time period or fails to respond to any attempted contact, such selected entrant will be disqualified, his/her entry will be declared null and void and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select at random another eligible entry, in which event these provisions shall apply to such other eligible entry. In order to be eligible to win, each selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance or mechanical or electronic aid.

5. Prize: 1 prizes are available to be won, consisting of 4 pre-selected bags of nuts from Jewels Under the Kilt and 4 pre-selected bottle of mustard from Organic Gold. All required documentation and information regarding the issuance and delivery of the prize will be sent via e-mail directly to each selected entrants' email address. The prize winner is solely responsible for any expenses not listed above. No responsibility is assumed by the Sponsor for any matters which may prohibit the gift certificate from being used, including but not limited to any unforeseen circumstances. The cash value for the gift certificate is .01 cent. If a selected entrant is unable or unwilling to accept or otherwise redeem the prize on the terms it is awarded, the prize shall be forfeited and no refunds, cash or substitutes will be provided in whole or in part. Sponsor is not responsible for unclaimed prizes. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any postal or courier delays or any loss, theft or damage that may occur to any prize. Any unused portion of the prize will be deemed to be forfeited and no substitution or other compensation will be awarded.

6. Release: By act of entering the Contest, each entrant releases and discharges the Released Parties (defined below) from any and all claims or liability arising out of or relating to his or her participation in this Contest or claim to, acceptance or use of any prize. In addition, the entrant releases the Sponsor and the Prize Supplier and each of the respective related parties and its respective affiliates, successors, assigns, past and present employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, and media buying, advertising and/or promotional agencies (collectively, the Released Parties), of the Sponsor and the Prize Supplier, from any and all liability in connection with the Contest and/or the acceptance or use of any prize, confirming compliance with the rules and consenting to the use of his or her name and photograph, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by the Sponsor, the Prize Supplier or their respective advertising and promotional agencies.

7. Privacy: We use your personal contact information to administer this Contest, including contacting, announcing and promoting prize winners. In addition, we will use this information to send you offers or information from the contest Sponsor(s) and Prize Supplier(s). If you do not wish to receive Marketing Offers, you may opt-out at any time by following the instructions at the bottom of any email Marketing Offer you receive. We solely use the information for our Marketing and that of our Prize Supplier(s).

8. Banning: The Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, prohibit any person from entering the Contest whom it believes to be abusing the Contest rules or otherwise seeking to undermine the operation of the Contest. Such abuse includes, without limitation, entering false information, entering more than once, and engaging in threatening, abusive or otherwise inappropriate behavior towards other contest entrants or employees of the Sponsor or Prize Supplier. Any attempt by an entrant or other individual to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest, including but not limited to any fraudulent claims, may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should any such attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such individual, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Any entrant who Sponsor believes to be engaging in any of the foregoing activities will forfeit any prize(s) won, and may, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, be disqualified from this Contest and any and all future contests.

9. Other: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. This Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein and is void where prohibited by law. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest or the Contest rules at any time without notice. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible to cash. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize or portion of the prize with a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes are awarded as-is and no warranties or guarantees are implied or expressed. Sponsor is not liable for any lost, late, misdirected or stolen entries or inability to process entries, and none of the Released Parties shall be liable for any errors, injury, damage or negligence that may arise in connection with this Contest or any prize, including without limitation technical failures of any website or software, viruses, website disruptions, malfunctions or website down-time, or any human error, bodily injury, death or property damage incurred or suffered by any Contest entrant or third party. Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest. The use of any automated system including robotic or form filling software to enter or participate in this Contest is prohibited and will result in disqualification of all entries by anyone using such assistance. If a dispute arises regarding who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address provided at time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. You must answer a skill testing question before being able to claim the prize.
