What’s old is new again at The Family Wash | Garage Coffee, as the Main Street eatery brings back some beloved favorites from the menu of its former location.

After nearly two years in its current location at 626 Main St., The Wash reintroduces a few of the staples that visitors to its former location on Greenwood Avenue still crave.

“It will be 10 items from the old Family Wash, conjoined with the favorites of the new menu,” says co-owner Mitchell Fox. “It’s the best of both worlds.”

Dishes returning to the menu include mac and cheese, quinoa and beet salad, baked brie, and bangers and mash. The menu refresh will be a celebration of the previous location’s 13-year history, as well as what’s ahead.

“We’ve been in East Nashville for 15 years, kind of pioneers in the area, and have stuck it out through thick and thin to be reborn in a bigger, better location that’s still proud to be in East Nashville,” Fox says. “Visitors should also look toward the specials board, because we’re also going to be trying new things out on people, so to speak.”
