Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. SWEEPSTAKES VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
Eligibility: The Gundry MDâ„¢ YouTube Channel Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakesâ€) is only open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Proof of residency and age may be required. Winners acknowledge that if they enter the Sweepstakes under a fraudulent name or account, they will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. Employees of Gundry MDâ„¢ and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible to win, nor are members of such employees’ immediate families. The term “immediate families†includes spouses, domestic partners, children, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren.
Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (“PTâ€) on March 22, 2017 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on March 29, 2017 (the “Promotion Periodâ€).
How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, new subscribers to the Gundry MD™ YouTube Channel will each receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry. Please note that your access and use of the YouTube website is governed by YouTube’s website policies, including but not limited to, YouTube’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Winner Selection: Five (5) winners will be selected at random within five (5) business days following the close of the Promotion Period. Winners will be contacted by e-mail within ten (10) business days following the close of the Promotion Period. If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified, Gundry MD™ reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to either select an alternate winner or not award that winner’s prize. Gundry MD™’s decisions regarding all matters related to the administration of the Sweepstakes and selection of winners are final.
Prize: Five (5) prizes are available for the Promotion Period: each winner will receive a copy of Dr. Gundry’s book The Plant Paradox (approximate retail value of prize: $17.15). Gundry MD™ reserves the right to substitute a prize with a similar prize of equal or greater value in the event an original prize is not available due to circumstances beyond its control. The winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes). Each prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions or substitutions. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Limit one (1) prize per person, family, and household. All prizes will be shipped to the winner vis U.S.P.S. Ground. Gundry MD™ is not responsible for any lost, stolen, misdirected or damaged mail. Prizes lost or damaged in mailing will not be replaced.
Agreement to Official Rules: Entry in the Sweepstakes constitutes a participant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Each participant further consents to be contacted by e-mail by Gundry MD™ in connection with the Sweepstakes, and grants Gundry MD™ the right to use and publish the participant’s proper name online or in any other media in connection with the Sweepstakes.
Release of Libility: By entering the Sweepstakes, participants release and hold harmless Gundry MDâ„¢, its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, managers, members, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes, the Gundry MDâ„¢ website, the YouTube website or any prize won.
Choice of Law: The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, excluding conflicts of laws principles. By entering this Sweepstakes, participants hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of California courts (state and federal) in Los Angeles County for any causes or controversies arising out of the Sweepstakes.
Miscellaneous Conditions: The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Sweepstakes may only be entered in or from the United States. Sweepstakes entries originating from any other jurisdiction will be disqualified. Gundry MD™ has the sole discretion to terminate the Sweepstakes at any given time, or to amend these rules at any time for any reason. In the event of an early cancellation, Gundry MD™ reserves the right to award a prize in a random drawing from all eligible entries received before the time of cancellation.
