WIN 'Mijn Juliette' an acrylic painting from Modern Art by Anja

For this painting (40 x 40cm) artist Anja Berends has used acrylic which is ideal for artwork with bright colours.
The portrait of ‘Juliette’ is based on a photo Anja was captured and machinated by, especially the attitude in the woman’s look. As with all her artwork Anja works with original photos which she then changes into her own style. The colours selected for ‘Mijn Juliette’ are bright to bring out the look in her eyes which is the core of the painting. As Anja herself describes the look of Juliette “She has the look of a well-travelled woman, a look of confidence that says ‘ I do what I want’ but also a look of uncertainly and of exceptions of life.
