‘Platinum HPA Eames Lounge’ TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering the “Platinum HPA Eames Lounge” competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on the entry form and under the heading ‘How to Enter’, along with the balance of these ‘terms and conditions’, set out the conditions of entry for this competition.
2. WHO CAN ENTER AND PLACE OF ENTRY?
2.1 Entry is free of charge and open only to Australian Residents over 18 years of age attending Australian Healthcare Week 2019 as a Conference or Expo delegate at the International Convention Centre Sydney.
2.2 Exclusion from entry: Hospital Products Australia Pty Ltd, MIMSYS Asia Pacific Pty Ltd and supplier companies (DT Research, GCX, Derungs, MIMSYS, Herman Miller, Zebra, Winmate, CBS, Sage, Dell, Man and Machine, ACL) are not eligible to enter the competition.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 Competition entry commences on Wednesday 27th March 2019 at 8.30am and concludes on
Thursday 28th March 2019 at 3.00pm.
3.2 Eligible entrants must complete the ‘competition entry form’ and place it in the 'Platinum HPA Eames Lounge' barrel located at the Hospital Products Australia booth at Australian Healthcare Week, ICC.
3.3 Completing the ‘competition entry form’ requires Eligible Entrants to provide their full name, their business name, email address, home address and telephone number (collected in accordance with our privacy policy). Eligible Entrants in the competition may enter only once.
3.4 Entries must be received by Thursday 28th March 2019 at 3.00pm.
4. PRIZE DRAW
4.1 There will be a random prize draw at 3.05pm on Thursday 28 March at the Hospital Products Australia booth at Australian Healthcare Week, ICC to determine one (1) winner, being the first eligible entry drawn. The winner will receive one prize, being the winning prize set out below.
4.2 The winning prize consists of:
1 x Authentic Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman Approximately $7,000
Total prize value is $7,000.00
4.3 The winner is not required to be present at the time of the draw but will be notified by us by phone/email on 28 March 2019, and the winner and their business name will be published on the Hospital Products Australia website on 29 March 2019. The prize will be sent to the winner’s contact address as provided on their entry form within one (1) week of the draw date (or as otherwise arranged with us).
4.4 In participating in the prize, the winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition. The winner agrees to grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.5 Prize may not be redeemed for cash.
4.6 Any unclaimed prize will result in a redraw at our registered office at the same time, 3 months after the original draw. If a winner is drawn, they will be contacted by phone/email within 2 business days of the draw, and the winner and their business name will be published on the Hospital Products Australia website.
4.7 The promoter’s decision is final, and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5. NO LIABILITY
5.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
5.2 Hospital Products Australia Pty Ltd and associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
5.3 Hospital Products Australia Pty Ltd & affiliates will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur:
a) during the draw;
b) while undertaking any activity in or connected with their entry into the draw;
c) in the participation in any prize;
d) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
e) due to the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compare, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
f) in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
g) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
